This event is a little different from the current game mechanics where you don’t get the rewards directly when completing each mission. You’ll be collecting tokens (Magicite Shards) from 3 difficulty levels and exchange these Magicite Shards with the relevant items. As the time frame for the event in Japan was quite short (7 days), you will want to prepare yourself to be able to face the hardest of the 3 to maximize the amount of tokens farmed. The event has been nerfed on the global built, they have brought down the requirements of most items and extended the number of days to farm.

Preparations
As mentioned above, this event is all about grinding tokens. Unless DeNA decides to reduce the number of tokens needed for each item or, extend the time period for this event, it is mathematically impossible to acquire all the items from the list without gemming for Stamina. You should prioritize getting the more important items first. (Aeries > Mithril > Jewel Ring > All other Aeries’s equipment).
There are 3 different difficulty levels and here’s the breakdown for the average number of Magicite Shards you get per stam:
Easy: 25/stam
Normal: 41.5/stam
Hard: 53.5/stam
Get Cura on 2 people as the Thrash Mobs and Reno hits pretty hard.
Recommended attack for melees should be around 130. (105 if you are using double Cut)
Prepare high Physical attack multiplier abilities. (check the list here)

For the [Earn Reward] (ex. it says “425 carrots total per round”), does the round refer to a single room in the event dungeon or does it refer to clearing the entire dungeon (ex. all 7 rooms in Hard dungeon)?

But if you get 115 per round in normal thats 575 in total plus you use less stamina so why not farm normal

I went for cheap gear first. For 90 points, you can make a Protect Vest (VII)++, which is extremely helpful with its synergy boost.
Well I started exchanging for the weaker items so they wouldn’t be in the way and I could go straight for the better items
where do I exchange the magicite to get Aeris and the other available items?
Is there a cap on shards? I’m approaching 9999 and was curious if I could continue farming. Also, is there any easier way to scroll and purchase items? Having to buy one at a time and then scroll back down again is AWFUL…
No cap on magicite shards.
I recommend getting as many 3 and 4 star orbs as possible (prioritize ones you need for high level abilities, or non-elemental as they’re more rare during daily farming).
Protect Vest is great. I put Aerith in with it at very low levels on hard. Survived a few waves and she was level 20 in no time.
What is the recommended level/equipment to auto battle normal safely on this event? I have cloud at lvl 23, Kain at 22, Cecil Dark at 19, Aerith at 19, and working on Rydia at 17.. They are my highest level characters and it’s taking forever to farm the shards to buy the 3000 shard equipment and growth eggs and such.. wanted to get a bunch of the orbs and such to get Cura and such…
I am currently just autobattling easy
I also still haven’t managed to get Mastery on normal, I barely beat it on normal the first time I did. Is there a faster way to get past that level 20 hump? Like any easier “hard” dungeons that I can blow through to get the exp needed, still haven’t finished most of the story battles.
Other than the daily with the exp bonuses, you may just have to farm events and dailies to level up that way until then. It doesn’t take long. I have only been playing about 5-7 days and above 37 already.
What should I claim for?
4* orbs, right?
Check to see which 3 and 4 start abilities are missing a few orbs and focus on those ones first. So far I managed to get Raise, Bladeblitz, Haste, Power Break, and Intimidate with this method. I’m currently working on getting Quake, Break, and Leviathan.
Why is the exchange system so poor? you have to trade magicite for each item instead of allowing you to to ajust the number of copies of the same item (like growth eggs: cant you imagine feeding the eggs one by one?) That’s a huge waste of time…

I Need your suggestion. I am trying to get all rare orbs from this event. But base on my calculation, under normal circumtance, I will not be able to get all the precious Orbs till the deadline.

Just get whatever u can for now. You’ll be able to get them from future events, there’s no hurry to rush through things. Also, orbs can be farm in the dungeons.You just need to know which dungeons to farm 🙂
I’m guessing these accessories (peace ring, jeweled ring, choco feather) aren’t really worth it compared to orbs right? Just checking…
