Orbs

  • Both orbs start Blue. They will do nothing except turn Yellow on their next turn. Likewise when they are Yellow, the orbs do nothing except turn Red on their next turn. When they turn Red they will use they will gain abilities as shown above.
  • Any damage done to the orbs will reset them back to Blue colour, regardless of what colour they are currently in.

  • 3 waves of soldiers, 5 soldiers each wave. Each wave consists of a different mix of soldiers.
  • The regular soldiers have AoE physical attacks.
  • The Terminators have both physical and magic attacks. Their Soul Crush ignores defense. Power Breakdown recommended.
  • Take advantage of their weaknesses, but make sure you don’t hit the right soldier with the right element!
    (regular soldiers are purple-ish in colour while the Terminators are green-ish)

Very annoying fight. Shotgun hurts a lot, top up your characters as much as you can or you’ll be overwhelmed by the damage you’ll be taking. Having AoE is great here, needless to say. If you have AoE Soul Breaks, save them for Wave 3 burst. They hurt the most so you want to kill them ASAP.

  • Counters attacks with self Reflect. Have Banish Strike or Dispel at the ready!
  • When Ruby Dragon gets weak he gains Meteor.

Not terribly hard for an Ultimate+. I would describe this boss as a “nerfed Fragment Ifrit”.

Chain Blizzaga and Saint Cross are excellent here. Banishing Strike also has insane value because it exploits weakness and removes the pesky Reflect that Ruby Dragon sometimes uses on itself.

Other than that, reduce magic damage as much as you can because his moves hurt once he goes below 50% HP.
