  • As far as I know (from watching vids), this Reflect status is special and cannot be dispelled.
  • This Reflect “buff” on Carbuncle expires after a set number of turns (15?).

Many ways to defeat Carbuncle. (i) Use your own Carbuncle/Reflect and bounce magic back at the boss; (ii) go for physical attacks instead or Retaliate; (iii) or wait until the Reflect buff wears off and Petrify him with Break. (do take note: to be able to Petrify Carbuncle, its Reflect has to have expired AND it also has to be in its Very Weak state.)

  1. When Exdeath is in Weak state, he hits multiple times.

  2. Minor correction, in the Castle Exdeath Upper Levels battle (Battle 14), there is only one round, although it is written here as three.
