Maduin (Ultimate) prevents the party from using magic and launches physical attacks in his Null Magic form, and attacks with devastating magic in his Magic Unleashed form, alternating between the two forms!
He can also use Dispel Ultimate once during the battle to remove all buffs from the party!
You can use Dispel to remove Protect or the Regen he gains from Holy Aura, and lessen incoming damage with Power Breakdown and Magic Breakdown!

Strategy
They do a lot of magic, so bringing Carbuncle is great. However do note you may be reflecting the “wrong” element back. For example, Thundara reflecting back to Moebius (who then absorbs it). Nevertheless, Carbuncle is a decent strategy. The next best alternative to the Carbuncle strategy is to get a Runic Blade RW.

Another alternative for those without Carbuncle is to tank up the party with a combination of Shellga/Boon + Sentinel’s Grimoire + Magic Breakdown. To actually kill them, you can do it slowly by focusing down targets one by one, or you can use AoEs like summons/Quake.

If you’re killing them one by one, I suggest taking down Curlax first as he is able to heal all brothers with White Wind.


Recommended abilities: Shellga, Magic Breakdown, AoE (Valefor/Leviathan/Alexander/Quake)

You can kill in whichever order you like but it is better to just focus on the main body since the arms just regenerate themselves. The arms themselves don’t deal too much damage, especially with mitigation and Power Breakdown. Pray that Delta Attack doesn’t happen too often.
