Lenna Event

This is the second Collection Event after Aerith. It was much easier compared to Aerith as the event was held over a longer period. However, I’m sure the global build would further nerf the tokens required for exchange

Event Objective

To clear the Fire-Powered Ship Dungeon and collect Magic Stones to exchange for items including Lenna!

Behavior patterns

This is a good place to use the Retaliate meta if you don’t have a super Physical team. As the boss changes into it’s other form, Elemental Damage will be greatly reduced thus Physical attack is the way to go. Take note that the boss can also counter Physical Attacks (tbc).

  1. This boss changes form everytime you hit him (and depending on the hit it might counter) so Human form does not counter when a magic is cast. Tornado form doesnt counter when a skill is used and not sure how to avoid hand form to counter.

  2. Special score conditions on Hard:

    1. Exploit Liquid Hand’s human form weakness to ice attacks.
    2. Defeat Liquid Flame without being KO’d.
    3. Defeat Liquid Flame before it uses Ray.

  3. my first motor trap on hard gave me 255 shards. Anybody else get something simila?

  4. Hand mode will change after 1500/2000 physical damages, while hand mode is on, ice damages are NULL, so use double attack/ice magic sequence to kill it

  5. Here how I end up fighting Liquid Flame easily.

    So first turn I wait with everyone except Riona and Sephiroth. Riona cast Blizzaga while Sephiroth use Retaliate. Second turn he will switch to something that require Melee hits, so I just Double cut with Cloud OR Snow on Sephiroth and wait with rest. He morph again, if he’s back Men form I will just Blizzaga/Blizzara Strike him again and wait with the rest.

    Each time I actually hit him he morph but since I wait with other party member, Im ready to deliver him another hit with a party member that was waiting.

    The worst part of this fight is the counter attack from Men form, but blizzaga should make him switch immediatly to something else

  6. Liquid Flame on Elite will occasionally drop 3 greater fire orbs. Only happened once for me so far but it was around my 10th time beating him, so I’d imagine that it is just a random rare drop.

    1. Just got another 3 greater fire orb drop today so can happen quite often with luck. Only problem is no real good use for greater fire orbs at the moment, maybe in next ability update.

  7. He dropped 1x Greater Wind Orb

  8. I’ve run hard about 30 times. So far he’s dropped a greater wind orb twice and 3 greater fire orbs once.

  9. Easiest boss if you take your time on Hard. Changes form after every attack and goes by a rocks paper scissors formula. Ice magic beats man. Single regular attack beats hand. Non-elemental special (double cut) beats tornado. No counters.
