The new Negate Damage and Reflect Damage features were added on 12/31 PST (1/1 UTC).
New Feature: Negate Damage
Some Soul Breaks and abilities can give your heroes a Negate Damage effect.
Negate Damage works as follows:
-When a hero with Negate Damage is hit by an attack, an amount of damage will be negated.
-If the amount of damage from the attack exceeds the amount that can be negated, the Negate Damage effect fades, and the hero will take any damage not negated.
-If all the damage from an attack is negated, it is not counted as a hit.
-The amount of damage to be negated changes based on the hero’s Max HP.
-Damage over time from effects such as Poison and Sap cannot be negated.
New Feature: Reflect Damage
Reflect Damage works as follows:
-When a hero with Reflect Damage is hit by an attack, an amount of damage will be reflected back at the attacker.
* If the attacker cannot be targeted, they will not receive any reflected damage.
-The Reflect Damage effect will fade after an amount of time passes.
-Damage over time from effects such as Poison and Sap cannot be reflected.
