The first event of Final Fantasy Record Keepers for the Global version is out! True enough, the event order is slightly different from the Japanese build. However, the good news is, you get to acquire Tifa and Sephiroth

Event Rules

The objective of the event is to climb all 70 Floors of the Shinra building (don’t worry there’s only 14 stages).

Reward Highlights

You’ll get lots of reward while completing each stage. Complete the following to acquire special rewards.
Tifa – Floor 26-30
Sephiroth – Floor 66-70
Chance to obtain Greater Summoning Orb (for crafting Leviathan)

Preparations:

– Get as many Lightning skill as possible (Lightning, Thundera, Thunder Strike).
– Use 2-3 characters with range attack(weapon) as there are bosses that cannot be reached by melee. (you can use Jump on Kain).
– Prepare Blind (PHYSICAL ABILITY) or Slow for final boss in the event of a stretched battle.
– Salve to lessen the burden on your healer.
– Bow + Thunder Strike is feasible.
– Try to get the 4* Mage Weapon for Rydia from the Elite Dungeon (Underground Waterway)
– You should be able to complete this at level 25 if you’ve gacha-ed lots of good gear. For F2Pers you should be able to complete this comfortably at level 30ish.

Floor Guide

The first few levels are easy to clear and you can just auto-attack them. I’ll just highlight the important once for now.

Cloud – Blade Base, Thunder Strike (doesn’t really matter what you give Cloud actually, just need a decent Weapon)
Kain – Double Cut, Jump (Jump can reach flying enemies)
Tyro – Equip Bow, Salve, Thunderstrike
White Mage – Cure, Slow
Rydia – Thundara, Thunder (Please farm the 4* weapon from Elite Underground Waterway from FF4)

I managed to kill the boss with 1 x Thundara (~5k), 2 x Thunder Strike (~2k), 2 x Jump (~2k).

This event was the 2nd event in Japan thus the difficulty level isn’t too tough. However, to comfortably complete the event, it is recommended to have a party of level 35s.

    is it coming back? I got tifa but not sephirot 🙁

    1. No one knows for sure. Based on original Japanese version, we should see it someday. But, don’t expect to see it in next 3-6 months.
