Strategy
Just like any other regular bosses, keep up mitigation with Shellga, Sentinel’s Grimoire and Magic Breakdown. It is a good idea to bring Poison spells (Bio, etc) and if you do, use all of them on Beehemoth King’s first form, because Behemoth King (Undead) absorbs Poison. For Behemoth King (Undead), you only need to watch out for his Meteor, they will hurt.

  1. Hi, there’s an error for the Behememoth King normal.
    He is weak to Fire AND Poison.
    Absorbs Ice.

  2. Is Behemoth King undead not weak against raise? I remember I killed him in that way when I did FF6 classic and elite.

    1. Now that would be too easy for a ++ boss wouldn’t it?

      1. Black Dragon and both Behemoth King’s are listed as vulnerable to doom, if it is confirmed that they are NOT vulnerable, should we remove that from the list of vulnerabilities?

        1. I have double checked both Muketsu and the official JP wiki for this particular boss. Both forms are indeed vulnerable to Doom.

          That said, things might change for Global’s version. Like how Ice Dragon’s debuff vulnerabilities were changed for us. So when you use this guide, take it with a grain of salt. I will update this page once I have the official info.

          1. I can confirm that behemoth king can still be doomed int he global version

  3. Behemoth King did not have Break Resistance for me. Neither did his alternate form, Behemoth King (Undead).
