  1. Poison and sleep icon are swapped :v

    1. edited thanx!

  2. Is Boost a temporary effect, or is it until the end of the fight? It’s not listed here, so I’m unsure and too lazy to test it.

  3. The dark-blinking effect on characters is the Sap status which was introduced mostly in FF5 and FF6, although I think FF2 had it too in the form of a temporary Poison effect that went away after battle.

    http://finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Sap_(Status)

    1. Sap was also in 4, but it was completely exclusive to Virus and Zeromus’ Big Bang.

      Unless I’m missing an effect.

  4. Do you know how long retaliate lasts?

    1. I can’t find any concrete info, but most people say its 2 rounds
So the rotation will usually be (eg. Cloud) Retaliate > Drain > Drain > Retaliate
I will need to do more testing to confirm this.. so far all the normal Dungeon bosses have too little HP

      1. cool, thanks!

      2. I found doing this I incurred a couple of hits at the end… so I just re-applied it every other round… maybe I’m being crazy not getting an extra couple of hits in – but i just found that I’d have a few seconds where I was vulnerable waiting an extra round

  5. Hey, I think the poison-like state is FF6’s seizure. Do you know how long do debuffs last?

    1. BTW, seizure is also known as sap, but that should be common knowledge, right? 😛

  6. When you cast a debuff on an enemy, would they show the same icons?
Namely for blind. If your blind is successful, would the enemy show the sunglasses icon?

    1. Yes debuff show on the enemy just like on your character. i know 100% for the sleep, poison, blind, silence and such. not sure about others

  7. Regen and Poison seem to disable each other, an interesting interaction.

  8. Has anybody ever tried Haste/Berserk on a character? I know that I really enjoyed using these on my melee characters in all of the FF games.

  9. How does the battle speed toggle affect these lengths of duration for these status’?

  10. Poison-like status is “Sap”.

  11. You forgot Slow (which looks like white rings coming out of the character)

  12. Poison-like effect is called Curse

  13. Would it be possible to add a list of abilities that inflict each given status effect (like Tempo Flurry listed under Slow, Quickness under Haste etc.). Short of looking up each individual ability on the FFRKStrategy site I haven’t found a simple list like this that explains the effects and all the abilities that do each and would save a ton of time to have one extensive list.

  14. I think you have description for slow incorrect. It doesn’t do any damage. Thank!

  15. “Slow = Deals HP DoT”
Hem, i think you made a mistake here 😅

  16. What about mini?
