Strategy | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
These brothers do a lot of magic, so bringing Carbuncle is great. However do note you may be reflecting the “wrong” element back. For example, Thundara reflecting back to Moebius (who then absorbs it). Nevertheless, Carbuncle is a decent strategy. The next best alternative to the Carbuncle strategy is to get a Runic Blade RW.Anonther alternative for those without Carbuncle is to tank up the party with a combination of Shellga/Boon + Sentinel’s Grimoire + Magic Breakdown. To actually kill them, you can do it slowly by focusing down targets one by one, or you can use AoEs like summons/Quake.If you’re killing them one by one, I suggest taking down Curlax first as he is able to heal all brothers with White Wind.

Notes:
There are a few ways to do this fight.
It is advisable to ignore the Soul Savers since killing them makes Wrexsoul even stronger. Video #1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cVD1Owq_uLE Recommended abilities: anything ice, Carbuncle / Shellga, Magic Breakdown |
written by /u/fattybomchacha aka flip
at 2nd bonus battle, the 2nd video you write it (no heal) but the person on that video bring curaga and use it once. must be for other video. now for my question : if the dragon at 3rd bonus battle vulnerable to berserk, why not use it? that will seal all their magic skills right?
Berserk doesn’t necessarily shut down all magic attacks. Berserk usually blocks all but 1 ability. In some cases, that 1 ability can be a magic. It really depends on how their AI are scripted.
If I’m not remembering wrongly, Red Dragon when Berserked will still be able to cast magic.
On the equipment pack, that Shimering blade is a shield that add ATT and Res?
DeNA screwed up that one. When the event goes live they’ll probably update that particular image.
So DeNa screw it or pass unnoticed until now?
Shouldn’t the battle against Wrexsoul yield an Amulet rather than a Rune Armlet?
You are right. I was copying the table from Golbez’s event and overlooked the rewards. Will fix it, sorry and thanks!
Cyan is listed as obtainable from Dungeons 7 and 8.
Fixed, sorry about that, and thanks!
Why Cyan’s stats and SB equipment description is not around?
I usually only include stats of characters with newly released Memory Crystals. In this case it’s Terra. Cyan’s MC is in a story dungeon so his 65 stats aren’t “new”, if you get what I mean.
That said, if you really want to see his info, you can check the following link: https://ffrkstrategy.gamematome.jp/game/951/wiki/Character_FF%20VI_Cyan
Hope you understand, thanks!
Hey Flip, i just wanted to say thank you for doing all this work for the community of FFRK,just thank you a lot man.Keep it up!
Just curious, would Wrexsoul go into its strong state if the soul saver is petrified?
Also, thanks for all your work on this site!
That’s a very good question. AFAIK, Petrify doesn’t count as KO (at least that is applicable to allied characters). Though, I believe when you successfully Petrify an enemy target, it follows with a death animation indicating that the enemy target is KO’d. So if you Petrify the soul savers, I think Wrexsoul will still enter his Strong state.
In FF games, battles end when full party (your’s or opponent’s) is petrified. If there’s still someone able to fight, battle continues.
If Wrexsoul actually had a Strong state, it would be activated by setting Petrify on the Soulsavers.
Both drop downs for the relic banners say “Set #2.” I’m assuming the first one should say “Set #1”?
Fixing it now!
Just want to note that Deathgaze also drops Greater Holy Orb in 2nd round.
Actually, I’ve gotten one in every round. =O
WEAK Fire (Shiva) / Ice (Fire)
ABSORB Fire (Ifrit) / Ice (Shiva)
You had to write Ice (Ifrit), not Ice (Fire) lol
Thanks for the info flip :3 I love how you help me to finish events~~

How do we know which character is possessed by this ****** wrexsoul ?
No way to tell as far as i know, but what I did was have my mages attack party members
Okey, thx, that’s what i already do, i’ll try and reset again and again ^^
Better site on ffrk i’ve found, so far better than the official french one !!
Oh … that’s because i kept my Wakka lvl 54 instead of my lvl 65 Kaïn ^^ I destroyed Wrexsoul !! Mouahaha, Cyan can wake up in serenity from this nightmare !!
