You’d want to take note of Isaaru’s Bahamut (Spathi). Basically you’re against its Megaflare timer. You want to take it down ASAP lest you risk medals. Use everything you got.

Strategy
Boss hits hard. Start with Power Break(down) and Protectga.Petrification is also a thing here, you may want to bring a Stona.Given its high HP, consider bringing Armor/Mental Break(down) to boost overall dps.

Note that Evrae Altana is an undead, so you can use recovery spells against it (NO, you cannot use Raise as it is immune to Instant KO). Also, put your hard earned Diara to good use here.

Recommended abilities: Diara, Stona, Armor/Mental Break(down)
Recommended RW: Status Reels, Sentinel’s Grimoire, Lunatic High

Flare: Deal heavy non-elemental damage to one target.
Break: Petrify one target.
Mortibody
Desperado: Deal moderate physical damage to all targets.
Fire/Thunder/Water/Blizzard: Deal fire/lightning/water/ice damage to all targets.
Mortibsorption: Deal damage to a target and drains some HP.
Cura: Restore some HP to one target.
Strategy
Mortibody cannot die, because the moment you reduce its HP to zero, it uses Mortibsorption on Seymour, gaining back some life. So you might as well just focus your abilities on Seymour.

For a trivial fight, follow these steps: Equip Yuna with an offensive summon (say Valefor because we roleplayers!), get a friend Celes with Soul Sabre, have Yuna use Runic Blade, spam Valefor!

While that is happening, the rest of the members should contribute with Mental/Armor/Magic Break(down) and dealing as much damage as they can.Other than that, make sure the party is tanked up with Shellga (or Sentinel’s Grimoire if you have one), because AoE magic will still damage the rest of the party members not affected by Runic.

Carbuncle is also a decent option. Do note that as long as Reflect is up, you cannot heal your characters directly using Curaga. Things like Kirin would complement this strategy well.

You can also consider Poison for extra dps.

Use whatever you got left. Make sure to Magic Break(down) Mortibody as well as Seymour. He doesn’t have much health. If you brought along a Runic Blade RW, this fight should be a walk in the park. Otherwise, Carbuncle is an excellent alternative.

Blizzard: Deal ice damage to one target.
Shremedy: Confuse one target.
Esuna: Removes all debuffs from one target.
Hi-Potion (Counter): Restore a moderate amount of HP to the target.
Strategy
This boss fight is split into 3 phases. In the first phase, you have to face the Guado Guardians, during this point you cannot damage Seymour at all, but he is still able to cast magic at you.

After guards are down you can attack Seymour, and after reaching a certain threshold Seymour will summon Anima. After Anima is defeated, Seymour will return to full health and his MAG will be raised, gaining new abilities as well.

The key to this fight is to kill the guards ASAP. They are pretty tanky combined and if you kill them too slow you’re going to lose medals to Actions Taken, and you can only lose a maximum of three medals.

NOTE: The guards are vulnerable to Petrify and Instant KO. Therefore Gravity, Death and Break are usable here. It is very useful in cutting down Actions Taken.

Muketsu mentioned three particular strategies:

  • STRATEGY #1 – Slow and Poison

When the guards are down, Magic Breakdown on Seymour first thing. Seymour can also be slowed and poisoned.

Anima has no weaknesses, therefore to kill it quick you have to use Armor/Mental Break(downn) to boost overall dps. Go all out on Anima with abilties and SBs. You don’t want it to cast Oblivion.

Once you are left with Seymour, just hit him with whatever you got left. Magic Breakdown is especially important in this last phase.

  • STRATEGY #2 – Carbuncle

This next strat makes use of Carbuncle, preferably honed once. Use Carbuncle once in the first phase.

While spells are being reflected, kill the guards either the slow way or the same way as mentioned in the first strategy above.

During Anima phase, nothing is changed from the first strategy. Take her down ASAP.

After Anima is down, use the last Carbuncle charge (if any) and finish Seymour off.

  • STRATEGY #3 – Runic Blade

Where there’s a strategy that calls for Carbuncle, there will definitely be one that calls for Runic Blade!

Have Yuna use Runic, and spam summons!

Couple this with Quake from other mages to take down the guards quickly.

Nothing changes for Anima. Kill her ASAP with Breakdowns and your most damaging abilities.

Use Runic again in the last phase and finish Seymour off.
