|||||||||

Dr. Mog’s Advice: If Baigan loses both of his arms, he’ll regenerate them, kupo! What’s worse, his arms explode if they’re still alive when you take down his body! The more HP the arms have when they explode, the more damage they do, so get the arms as low as possible before finishing off Baigan’s body!
To kill Baigan with minimum casualties, kill the arms first, then followed by the body. You can also use AoE abilities like Shiva, Quake, etc. All targets are vulnerable to Blind so things like Shadow Flare works really well here. |

Abilities | |||||||||
► Normal Attack: Deal physical damage to one target. Petrify Stare (Counter): Petrify one target. (triggers upon receiving magic damage) ► Close Crush: KO one target. |
|||||||||
Strategy | |||||||||
This battle must be won quickly as the Demon Wall will constantly close in on the party and when it gets close enough, it will start to use Crush which instantly kills a target.Knowing this, Slow is pretty much mandatory to have ample breathing space.Also, Demon Wall counters magic with Petrify Stare, so bringing mages may not be a good idea. Attack it with physical attacks coupled with Armor Break(down)

|||||||||
Strategy | |||||||||
If possible, get a Sentinel’s Grimoire RW. Magic Breakdown + Shellga will reduce Megaflare’s damage significantly. You should also Slow Bahamut so that you don’t get hit too often.Note that it casts Reflect on itself upon receiving magic damage. So mages may not be effective here. Given that it is vulnerable to poison (debuff), Venom Buster has high value in this fight.Alternatively, you can use the Superboost strategy.

Strategy | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
The CPU is accompanied by Defense Node and Attack Node. The fight will start with CPU casting Reflect on itself, and it will continue to do so for the remainder of the fight. However, if you destroy both Nodes, the CPU will enter an “opened” state and gain a new ability called Object199 (or Globe199) which deals massive damage. You don’t want that to happen.The strategy here is simple: kill Attack Node, ignore Defense Node, kill CPU.
Why must Attack Node die instead of the other? Attack Node has high attack and its ability deals damage to the whole party. Defense Node, on the other hand, merely heals the CPU which is much less threatening. As for the CPU, there two ways you can deal with it:
Once CPU is down, finish off Defense Node. Video #1 (Dispel): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EJtmior4rOU Recommended abilities: Dispel, summons, spellblades |

Would Spellblades be advisable against Bahamut? I’m under the impression that they are unaffected by Reflect and would also serve to exploit its plethora of elemental vulnerabilities.
So sorry, there is actually a mistake in Bahamut stats, he actually resists all those elements that you see. I will fix the table now.
The Total Stamina Required is wrong on Lvl 07 Lodestone, you listed 14 but it’s actually 22.
Whoops! Fixed it, thanks!
Thanks for the good job Flip, now I realize that not only you’re answering our random questions, but you are in fact writing these guides
Hey cheers man, appreciate the kind words, I actually enjoy writing these 🙂
Dungeon 14. Chance to drop 3* summon orb
Thanks for the guide flip. When did you start writing these guides instead of kong? or was it always you?
Quick aside: saw these exact tips for CPU fight on one of darkfire’s posts on reddit by you (fattybom). Did you copy oasta here or was it on the dungeons guide here first before reddit? #guideception
Anyway, kudos to you and the folks behind this site (kbp,zeph,etc). Cheers from SEasia \m/
Kong was doing it for a while then I took over from Sephiroth’s event onwards (Kong still manages the site as a whole though, I’m only doing event guides).
About CPU, I finished this guide before the dungeon update came out, so when it did and coincidentally has CPU as one of the bosses, I just copied what I wrote and pasted it on reddit 🙂

Possible drop from boss Demon Wall (18) => Greater earth orb
Uh yeah…… this info might work for standard battles but for the event its complete bullshit. Have you even done the event? I find it hard to believe so.
First off several flaws with your strategies for the event fights since they vary slightly for on par battles. And if you find yourself not needing to bother with the event strategies, you are close to autoing it anyway.
BIG AREA FOR IMPROVMENT: Dr. Lugae fight.
First this bastard seems to counter EVERYTHING you throw at him so you rack up damage pretty fast. We aren’t talking baby hits here either. At level for this fight 200-300 HP a pop for a counter is a big deal.
Second his ATB gauge fills faster than most of yours so do NOT bank on last minute heals. His sleep gas counter is a bitch but it is by no means his biggest weapon. Honestly I only get this guy to half health with a level 32 team. He is a pain in the ass and his normal hits are for around 800. Am I under leveled, probably. However that’s part of tinker crafting since most strategies stupidly assume you have X item/ character/ maxed ability -that-takes-ungodly-luck-or-the-big-man’s-peter-beater-on-your-shoulder-to-get! (If anyone recalls FFIV then they are probably familliar with the elixer strategy? Just a case in point. No one got two elixers their first run and PPANNED to have them for that fight. Guide makers don’t consider things like that anymore so its up to theory crafters like us to assume you are barely leveled for the fight and have the bare bones abilities and build strategies from there. We present options in case strategy A-C and on up to F just wasn’t in the draw for you in a game based on a rng skullfuck)
Other fights on this guide are solid. Good work there.
i find it funny that you are having a hard time on dr lugae, he’s one of the easiest bosses here, if you are having some trouble leveling your characters you should’ve leveled them on the sunday event or got a bunch of major growth eggs from the previous event before this one.. this guide assumes that you have at least broken level caps and can equip RMs for better measure.. how do you expect to beat bosses of level 100+ difficulties if you can’t even break level caps..
oh and i suggest you start farming orbs especially greater ones, they will start pulling out bosses where you can’t even scratch the surface if you don’t have 4* abilities

Lmao my bad. I posted this on the wrong site. I had four different guides up at the time and was burning through steam after just tucking the kids in for the night. The site I meant to post it on took no account of anything. Their strategies were all based around people having five star equips, complete level fifty teams, and pretty much only needing to scratch their ass while auto running the fights. Which sent me looking for other sites in the first place. There was literally no employable strategies there that would work in anything but normal story dungeons. Seriously, they gave nothing more than “Use lightning. This fight use water.” No boss mechanics or anything.
And yes. I meant Lugaeborg. I got my tellah memory crystal today after only three or four days of playing. So not bad for an on level team.(When was the fourth phase of forbidden treasures again?)
So I humbly retract my previous statement and kick myself firmly in the ass.
oh so that’s why, i didn’t mean to sound mean (words meh! lol) but as an avid follower of this guide i was able to clear out all dungeons and events from the very beginning without spending a dime (free player) just following what flip has been posting you would be able to foresee every battle ahead of time.. just check his “events” section he has at about maybe 3-4 months worth of strategies for all the upcoming events, this helps a lot in planning out your “farming”.. of course you should clear out the normal/elite dungeons so that you will have 130 stamina, this way even if you’re at work sneak out a bit after every 6 hours, plan out the parties you will use ahead of time using the “favorites”. this way when you get to sneak out on work or you got that sweet freedom from your kids you just pop them in then get to the next dungeon you were planning to conquer 😀
sorry to ask this silly question. but how to do superboost strategy? its on bahamut guide. oya i saw someone mention in other web that we could use dispel also on the bahamut. so it attack itself. is it true?
he will use flare on himself after applying reflect that way it will hit you, but if you dispel him before he does flare he will hit himself.. he does reflect on countdown 3 of the first megaflare (not including the one he does initially) and he does reflect on countdown 4 for the 2nd megaflare.. one more thing to note don’t hit him with magic break(down) not until he is about to use megaflare, that way when he uses flare on himself combined with mental break(down) he automatically damages 9999 on himself..
oh btw on the 2nd round of megaflare it is possible for him to use 2 flares that’s 19,998 damage!
thank you for the explanation. is that the same with the superboost strategy mentioned above?
oops sorry i thought you were talking about dark bahamut, this was silly on my part, this boss should post no problems as long as you have magic breakdown, bring shellga then bring sentinel’s grimoire RW, his megaflare will now just tickle you, then bring your heavy hitters as you would not want to bring mages and constantly dispeling him.. if im not mistaken the superboost strategy is pretty much like reta-meta where you use retaliate on someone then boost him then have your party attack him to attack the boss but with higher output, the only difference this time is you use the advance RW that luneth provides which will stack with boost this way you will have a high enough attack without having to hone too much abilities, im not pretty sure with the specifics of that strategy as i have not used it yet.. hope this helps
oic thank you so much
First of all, thamks for the guides, I use them all the time. Secondly, I saw an error with the Feymarch; In parts two and three there is only one stage, not three. I just want to point that out to you and try to help out!
