Slow: Slow one target.
Protect: Grant Protect to one target.
Shell: Grant Shell to one target.
Psycho Blast: Deal heavy physical damage to one target.

Orbs

Attack: Deal physical damage to one target.

Strategy
Over a certain number of turns, the Right Orb and Left Orb change from blue, to yellow, to red. If either orb reaches red, it unleashes a powerful magic attack.

  • When the Right Orb or Left Orb take damage, they return to blue.
  • When the Norg Pod’s HP drops to a certain amount, Norg enters the battle.

Assign a character or two solely for attacking Orbs to make sure powerful spells don’t go off. Alternatively, you can deal AoE abilities to efficiently tame the orbs (this includes the Zealot Record Materia). Thankfully the boss doesn’t have much HP so the battle will end fast even if you don’t bring Death (Norg is vulnerable to it).

► Weak

All of Normal’s abilities plus the following:
Demon Slice: Deal heavy physical damage to one target.

Strategy
  • At low HP, Seifer gains the ability Demon Slice
  • Randomly uses Remedy when afflicted with debuffs

Sleep is effective here if you plan to bring a mage team. You afflict him with Silence and Blind for an easy fight, reapply debuffs where necessary. Otherwise, defensive breakdowns as usual.

Recommended abilities: Sleep Buster, Shellga, Protectga, defensive Breakdowns.
Recommended RW: Sentinel’s Grimoire, Lunatic High, Boon

► Fujin

Zan: Deal physical damage to one target.
Sai: Bring one target’s HP to 1.
Regen: Grant Regen to one target.
Tornado: Deal heavy wind damage to all targets.
Esuna: Remove debuffs from one target.
Haste: Grant Haste to one target.
Slow: Slow one target.
Metsu: Deal heavy damage to all targets.
Pain: Poison, Silence and Blind one target.
Meteor: Deal massive non-elemental damage to all targets.

Strategy
  • Strategy #1: Control

This strategy involves the use of a defensive RW like Stoneskin or Sentinel’s Grimoire, while also blinding Raijin ASAP. Magic Breakdown Fujin to reduce her damage by a considerable amount.

  • Strategy #2: Sleeping Gas

If you remember Rinoa’s ++ boss,  you can execute the exact same strategy for this fight. Sleeping Gas (and hope the Sleep lands on both) and follow up with Quakes, summons, Ruinga, etc.

Recommended abilities: Magic Breakdown, Dark Buster, Sleep Buster, AoE abilities.
Recommended RW: Sentinel’s Grimoire, Stoneskin, Sleeping Gas

Firaga: Deal heavy fire damage to one target.
Bloodfest: Deal heavy physical damage to all targets.
Counter-Zantetsuken: Deal massive physical damage to all targets.
Strategy
  • This is actually interesting: if you use the summon Odin, Seifer will react with Counter-Zantetsuken (and you don’t really want that!)

Retaliate may not be the best strategy here since Seifer’s attacks mainly hit all targets (Unless you run 5x Retaliators).

Just tank up the party with Protectga, Shellga and Sentinel’s Grimoire, and use defensive Breakdowns.

  1. Seifer’s HP for Lunatic Pandora is erroneously shown to be identical to his HP in Galbadia Garden.

    1. Fixed it thanks! Sorry for the mistake.

  2. Lol, just noticed ‘Squall Level Cap “reak” 2’ in the event banner.

  3. Galbadian Blades are 2★ Equipment, sadly, not 3★.
Just nitpicking, eh, but I had to double-check if it was a 3* Sword (and as such potentially worth investing for RS).

    1. Thanks for spotting it, will fix now, sorry!

  4. Wait so no zell 5 star weapon this time?

    1. There is, click the “Set #2” tab, his weapon is there.

  5. This is exciting! Can’t wait for the SSB for Squall and I need Squall since I missed his event the last time.

  6. Is the talisman a VII item or a VIII item, flip, because this is a VIII event. (I apologize if I am being too negative for u.)

  7. The word “Normal” is set as the heading for Fujin’s list of techniques in the second part of Lunatic Pandora.

  8. Thank you so much for all this info. So much better than the official site
